What do you do on a day-to-day basis at your job? I manage daily maintenance requests, along with assigning/working on purchase orders and work orders. I also handle our security system and oversee the inventory management of our tool locker checkout program.
How did you arrive at your current position? What was your professional or career path? I originally was part of the cleaning crew and was promoted to Facilities Coordinator. As our facility grew I was given more responsibility and was promoted to a Sr. Facilities Technician. I now help coordinate onsite customer/vendor tours to ensure our facility runs smoothly.
What is the best part about your job? Helping people and seeing us accomplish our goals, together. I’m approachable, and I like being the one whom people can come to, knowing I can help them find a solution.
Ted Galbraith | Forge Team Lead
YEARS AT MILWAUKEE TOOL: 9
EDUCATION: High School graduate
What do you do on a day-to-day basis at your job? I work with our cross-functional operations team to plan and run scheduled production for our forge press. My team and I work together to be agile in a fast-paced environment to change and adapt to production needs.
How did you arrive at your current position? What was your professional or career path? I’ve always liked creating and working with my hands. After I graduated high school, I began my career in forging through different companies but I knew I wanted to end up here. I love the brand and heard great things about the culture.
What is the best part about your job? My team. We make sure all hands are on deck to get things done. I feel a deep sense of pride knowing Milwaukee Tool manufactures in the USA, and I’m excited to be a part of this process.
