Intelligent Measurement: Water Utilities and Commercial and Industrial customers leverage our meters, sensors and other products to gain insights into their system performance to prevent water loss, identify unaccounted for water, evaluate water quality and assess other system performance measures. 

Actionable Data: Our innovative BEACON® Software as a Service solution provides utilities a holistic view of their water data increasing visibility, efficiency in operations and encouraging informed decision-making to promote sustainable operations. 

Consumer Engagement Tools: EyeOnWater® empowers utility residents and customers to manage their water use through easy-to-understand consumption graphs. Users can also set up configurable leak notifications to help identify water loss issues before they waste precious water and cause a high water bill.

Erin Loofboro | Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Manager

YEARS AT BADGER: 3
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Bachelor’s of Science, Mechanical Engineering

What do you do on a day-to-day basis at your job? With focus on new product development, my team is responsible for establishing new, advanced manufacturing processes and acting as the engineering representatives between design and production of new product innovation. 

How did you arrive at your current position? What was your professional or career path? I’m passionate about process improvement and the technology and innovation that goes into water meter manufacturing. Due to company growth and expansion, an Advanced Manufacturing Engineering group was established, and I was promoted to manager. 

What is the best part about your job? I feel valued and empowered playing an instrumental role in the future of our engineering processes and the impact it has on our organization.

Jalen McCloud | Senior Inside Sales Representative

YEARS AT BADGER: 4
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Bachelor’s of Science, Computer Engineering

What do you do on a day-to-day basis at your job? I create new business accounts, sales orders, bid documents and pricing structures, as well as liaison with our engineers to develop certified test files for customers. 

How did you arrive at your current position? What was your professional or career path? I’ve previously worked in retail and always enjoyed working with customers. After college I was hired as a Customer Service Representative and have since been promoted twice to my current role as Senior Inside Sales Representative. 

What is the best part about your job? The satisfaction from making a customer happy! Customer Focus is a core value so it’s not only important to me but also the organization.
