What do you do on a day-to-day basis at your job? I manage landscape maintenance and snow services crews at one of our most prestigious commercial clients, Milwaukee Regional Medical Center, which requires prioritizing safety and timeliness for visitors and staff.
How did you arrive at your current position? What was your professional or career path? When I was hired shortly after high school David J. Frank himself encouraged me to go back to school, so I graduated from MATC’s Automotive Maintenance Technician Program. Using the company’s internal training opportunities, I earned landscape and snow certifications.
What is the best part about your job? When I do my job, I can change somebody’s perspective, and knowing I made a positive impact on that person’s life means everything to me.

YEARS AT DAVID J FRANK: 12
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Landscape Horticulture Associate Program from MATC
What do you do on a day-to-day basis at your job?
I run a crew of 2-4 technicians from start to finish on a project. I oversee and coordinate work, make sure it’s completed on time, and under or at budget.
How did you arrive at your current position? What was your professional or career path?
I started with a two-year Landscape Horticulture associate degree from MATC. When I was hired I received training from an experienced team member. Since then, I have continued to use the company’s internal training programs.
What is the best part about your job?
I love seeing a space transform, taking a visual sketch-up and bringing an architect’s vision to life.
