What do you do on a day-to-day basis at your job? I work on the logistics team, primarily coordinating whole-good and parts transportation. This includes scheduling inbound and outbound ocean containers, arranging off-site pick-ups and return shipments, managing outbound shipments to customers (full and partial truck load) and working with LTL freight carriers. In addition, I handle inventory reconciliation and troubleshooting errors in our processing system.
How did you arrive at your current position? What was your professional or career path? I began as a warehouse associate and worked up to the shipping lead, which led to a promotion as Logistics Coordinator.
What is the best part about your job? In the fast-paced logistics environment at a global manufacturer, brainstorming solutions to make things as straightforward as possible for my co-workers is what drives me.

What do you do on a day-to-day basis at your job? As the lead of such a busy line, my main goal is to make sure the line is ready and suitable to run for a successful day. As a lead, I’m responsible for the production task log, restarting the time clock and making sure everyone moves their machine accordingly. I also work hand-in-hand with my supervisor on making sure the line is running to its best ability.
How did you arrive at your current position? What was your professional or career path? When I first started working here, this line was new. I challenged myself to learn each station making myself dependable and knowledgeable. I worked hard every day, proving to my team the potential that I had and how much I enjoyed working with them. As the time passed, I earned my steps on the assembly tier and one day I was offered what I worked so hard for. Lead Assembler!
What is the best part about your job? The best part of my job is being able to help the people on my line.
